Eyelet curtains are fabulous if you have limited space to the side of the window as they concertina when drawn so don’t restrict light from the window.  By far the most uniformed style of curtain (with the possible exception of Wave curtains) Eyelet curtains work best when they can drop straight down so in my mind should always skim across the top of a floor or surface, never sit on it or puddle.  The eyelets themselves can come in a variety of metal finishes and sizes to match most poles and the curtains can be interlined and either cotton, thermal or blackout lined.
